Step 1.
Launch xtract universal software, test version does not require user password, directly click "connect" to log in.

Step 2.
After entering the main screen, click "New" to create a new job.

Step 3.
In the pop-up dialog box, you can select the type you want to export, and you can also name the job. Here, the first thing to do is to define the data source: click "+" on the interface to create a new data source.

Step 4.
The data source definition interface is as follows, where the SAP user password, server address, and instance number are required to connect.

Step 5.
Once you have created the data source, go back to the create job window. Select the created data Source in Source, name the job, select the type of data to export, and click OK.

Step 6.
In the pop-up dialog box, you can select the data entity to be exported. Click "+Add" to get the list of data entities, select the data entity in the list, and then click "OK".

Step 7.
After data refresh is imported, you can view Fields and comments related to the selected data entity in the Fields box. You can also click the check box to select and tailor required fields, and perform operations such as association, filtering, and data aggregation. When you have finished processing the data, click "OK".

Step 8.
Back to the main interface, select the new job and click "Destination" to set the data destination.

Step 9.
Next, click "... "in the pop-up window. , you can see the options and Settings for the data destination.

Step 10.
In the Type drop-down box of the pop-up window, you can select the desired data destination type (Mysql database for example). At the same time, you need to have the user password and database address of the data storage destination for easy connection. After filling in the database parameters and testing successfully, click "OK" after connecting.

Step 11.
In the dialog box that is displayed, select a data processing mode (Create If Not Exists, Drop & Create, Custom SQL, or None) in the Preparation drop-down list. There are also data initialization and row processing functions. Click "OK" when you're done.

Step 12.
Then, click "Run" on the main screen to see the running status of the created job.

Step 13.
Finally, data validation needs to be performed at the data destination to ensure that the required data is validated correctly. Note: In Preparation, I chose to process the data in Create If Not Exists mode, which creates a new table in the destination database to store the data from the source. The table name is named after the job name.
